For doctors from Ukraine and Belarus who are dissatisfied with salaries and other working conditions in their home countries, there is now a real opportunity to change the situation by moving to Poland to work as a neurologist. Currently, the circumstances are such that the country faces a chronic shortage of medical specialists, including in the field of neurology. Therefore, finding a decent position with prospects for professional growth is entirely possible. Our company can help achieve this in a short time with minimal effort.

What are the responsibilities of a neurologist in Poland?

In general, their responsibilities are similar to those of a neurologist (also called a neuropathologist) in Ukrainian or Belarusian medicine, so no complete retraining is required. A doctor in this specialty deals with everything related to the central and peripheral nervous system of adults or children, in particular:

  • Prevention and treatment of brain and spinal cord pathologies caused by circulatory disorders;

  • Consequences of traumatic brain injuries and spinal injuries;

  • Seizure syndromes, including epilepsy;

  • Neuroinfections;

  • Neuromuscular disorders;

  • Pathologies related to demyelination of nerve fibers;

  • Peripheral nerve lesions.

Neurologist vacancies are available in both outpatient and inpatient medical institutions of public and private ownership, as well as in specialized sanatoriums, rehabilitation centers, and similar facilities.

What is required for employment – the professional qualifications of the candidate

To work as a neurologist in Poland, a candidate must have:

  • A medical degree and a certificate of specialized training in neurology. Requirements for diploma recognition (nostrification) are applied after obtaining the position;

  • For applicants from Belarus – at least three years of professional experience in the specialty within the last five years. Ukrainian migrants can currently disregard this requirement;

  • Proficient knowledge of professional medical Polish;

  • A work permit as a doctor issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland.

Meeting these criteria opens up many opportunities for responsible, diligent, non-conflict, and communicative candidates. The main advantage is being able to work in your specialty and earn a respectable salary. The starting salary for a Polish neurologist is 9,700 PLN gross per month. Add to this a regulated work schedule, substantial extra pay for on-call shifts and overtime, social benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development – and you will see that working as a neurologist in Poland is exactly what you need. Our experienced, efficient, and results-oriented team can then provide practical assistance in securing the position and settling in your new workplace.
