This is important information for those seeking work as a chemotherapy specialist in Poland: this specialty is in high demand, allowing candidates to reasonably expect a competitive salary and favorable working conditions. Our company is ready to help you find a suitable position and provide professional support at every stage of the employment process.

What are the responsibilities of a chemotherapy specialist?

A chemotherapy specialist administers treatment to patients using highly toxic medical drugs. This treatment is most commonly prescribed for cancer, in which case the chemotherapy specialist works closely with an oncologist. However, chemotherapy may also be used for severe infectious diseases, extensive chronic dermatoses, and in a number of other cases.

In a Polish clinic, a chemotherapy specialist performs the following duties:

  • Consulting patients as well as doctors of other specialties when managing a patient collaboratively;

  • Histological and cytological evaluation of biological samples;

  • Developing individualized chemotherapy treatment plans;

  • Monitoring and adjusting treatment as needed;

  • Managing and alleviating adverse side effects;

  • Postoperative and post-radiation therapy follow-up.

Additionally, working as a chemotherapy specialist in Poland includes assisting patients in social adaptation during remission.

How to get a job as a chemotherapy specialist in Poland?

Currently, there is a simplified employment procedure for medical professionals from post-Soviet countries. In particular, for Ukrainians, Belarusians, and citizens of other former Soviet republics, to qualify for a position as a chemotherapy specialist in Poland, it is enough to:
