Over recent decades, population immunity has been steadily declining for various reasons. At the same time, demand for immunologists working in this field has been increasing. Polish specialists are actively migrating to Western European countries, where they are offered higher salaries. As a result, the shortage of such professionals in the Polish healthcare sector is growing day by day. This creates a good opportunity for specialists from post-Soviet countries to find employment as immunologists in Poland under significantly better conditions and with more positive prospects than in their home countries.
Our company professionally handles the employment of medical specialists and provides assistance with all related matters. We have extensive experience in successfully matching candidates with positions that meet a wide range of requirements and professional backgrounds.
What does an immunologist do in a Polish clinic?
Patients of this specialist are individuals with congenital or acquired immune system disorders. In general, working as an immunologist in Poland involves:
examining patients, identifying immunodeficiency, and determining its cause;
selecting and prescribing pharmacological therapy;
ongoing monitoring of patients with immunodeficiency and autoimmune diseases;
monitoring compliance with vaccination schedules;
preparing medical documentation.
In addition, immunology includes several fields that define a physician’s subspecialization. For example, an immunologist–infectious disease specialist treats patients whose bodies are prone to frequent infections. A transplant immunologist prepares patients for transplantation and provides postoperative follow-up to prevent organ or tissue rejection. An immunologist with an allergology specialization treats various types of allergies. An immunologist–radiologist works to restore immune function impaired during radiation therapy.
Polish immunologists work in public and private outpatient and inpatient clinics.

What is required to work as an immunologist in Poland?
Due to the acute shortage of specialists, the list of requirements for foreign candidates—particularly Ukrainians and Belarusians—is minimal. These include:
possession of a medical university diploma and a document confirming completion of training in the relevant specialization;
professional experience confirmed by employment in the home country — at least 3 years within the last 5 years;
a good command of the Polish language, including proficiency in professional medical terminology;
obtaining authorization to work from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland.
Candidates who meet these criteria can easily find a suitable position as an immunologist in Poland with a starting gross salary from 9,700 PLN per month, a regulated working day, additional pay for any overtime, bonuses and allowances, a social benefits package, employer-provided uniforms, and full provision of everything required at the workplace, as well as the opportunity to relocate to Poland. Our team will help make this relocation as comfortable as possible.
