A beautiful smile makes a strong impression on others. Unfortunately, not everyone is naturally blessed with perfectly aligned teeth, and sometimes correcting this requires the help of an orthodontist. At present, due to the mass migration of medical professionals to Western Europe, working as an orthodontist in Poland with a good salary and decent working conditions has become accessible to specialists from post-Soviet countries, primarily Ukrainians and Belarusians. Our company provides vacancy selection, employment assistance, and related services to such candidates.
What does an orthodontist do?
A dentist specializing in orthodontics does not extract teeth and does not treat teeth or gums. Their work is focused exclusively on correcting bite issues, improving functionality, and enhancing the aesthetics of the dental arch, specifically:
examining the patient and diagnosing existing problems — misaligned or crowded teeth, wide interdental spaces, bite disorders, arch anomalies, defects and pathologies of the dentofacial system, and others;
selecting and installing specialized appliances — brace systems, retainers, aligners, plates;
providing long-term patient follow-up and adjusting treatment;
teaching special therapeutic exercises to patients for whom dental appliances cannot be installed, such as young children;
referring patients with severe pathologies to a maxillofacial surgeon;
maintaining medical documentation.
At present, employment as an orthodontist in Poland is available to foreign specialists both in public specialized clinics and in private dental practices.

Requirements and working conditions
To be employed in a Polish medical institution, foreign physicians must meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Health, namely:
hold a medical university diploma obtained in their home country and a certificate confirming specialization in orthodontics;
have at least three years of professional experience in the specialty within the last five years;
learn the Polish language with a focus on medical terminology;
obtain authorization and a license to carry out professional activities;
possess solid professional knowledge, be responsible, conscientious, non-confrontational, communicative, able to work with adult patients, and capable of finding an individual approach to children.
Among the advantages received by a Ukrainian or Belarusian specialist employed as an orthodontist in Poland, first and foremost is a comfortable salary — starting from 9,700 PLN per month. In addition, a regulated working day, a substantial package of social guarantees, and full provision of everything necessary — uniforms, modern equipment, and high-tech orthodontic systems and appliances — are of great importance. Working under such conditions brings not only material benefits but also moral satisfaction.
